Who is eligible to study MBBS abroad in recognized medical universities?

Any Indian citizen who is at least 17 years old and has successfully completed the 10+2 level from a recognized Council/Board in India or abroad is eligible to pursue MBBS abroad. The candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as elective subjects, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate in PCB combined. Additionally, the student must clear NEET before admission to any medical university abroad for MBBS.

According to NMC, what is the new rule for Indian students pursuing MBBS in Abroad?

To be eligible for permanent registration to practice medicine in India after completing MBBS abroad, students must study at a recognized foreign university for a total duration of 54 months, including a mandatory internship of at least 12 months at the same medical institution abroad.
After applying to the Commission, a foreign medical graduate needs to undergo a supervised internship in India for a minimum of one year.
Additionally, they must successfully pass either the National Exit Test (NExT) or any other test mandated by the Commission.

Can I apply for MBBS in Abroad directly, without any entrance test?

It is a required examination for Indian citizens who have received a medical degree from a foreign college or university and wish to practice medicine in India.
